These days, portable computers are highly sought after, in large part due to their portability and versatility. They are transportable anywhere you desire. The use of notebooks and tablet PCs has simplified life and saved a tonne of time.
These, usually referred to as a personal computer or laptop, include a battery and an AC power adaptor. On July 3, 2013, the BIS Bureau of Indian Standards implemented a mandatory registration programme for notebook/tablet PCs in accordance with Indian Standard IS 13252 (Part 1): 2010.
