A computer's keyboard works as an input device for writing numbers, alphabets, and other symbols into the monitor. Keys are pushbuttons found on keyboards. Because it transmits information to the computer but receives none back, it is regarded as an input device. There are various sorts of keyboards, including full-size desktop keyboards, portable keyboards, flexible keyboards, and handheld keyboards. Every keyboard performs essentially the same tasks. Under the Compulsory Registration Scheme, the Indian government has made it mandatory to register keyboards. Manufacturers must register their products before they can import, export, store, distribute, or sell keyboards in the Indian market. They must also manufacture their products in accordance with Indian Standard IS 13252.
