COPYING MACHINES/DUPLICATORS IS 13252(Part 1):2010*

Product Description

A photocopy or Xerox machine is another name for a copying device. It was initially released in 1959 as a Xerox, which was slowly replaced by Photostat, verifax, etc. Its primary purpose is to quickly make copies of papers and other forms of visual pictures on paper or plastic film; the type of photocopy varies depending on the demand and can be either black and white or coloured. The majority of modern photocopiers use xerography, a dry process that uses electrostatic charges on a light-sensitive photoreceptor to attract and then transfer toner particles (a powder) onto paper in the shape of an image. Then, using heat, pressure, or a combination of the two, the toner is bonded to the paper.
